LIGHTWORKS ENTERPRISES ANNOUNCES CO-PRODUCTION AGREEMENT WITH LA PRODUCTORA
- Emmy-Award Winning KPI, a Unit of Lightworks Producing Group, To Co-Produce “Narc-Ops”; Lightworks Program Distribution Granted World-Wide Distribution Rights -
New York, NY (October 2, 2007) – Lightworks Enterprises Inc., (LEI) a vertically integrated television, internet and new media company, today announced that it has reached a co-production agreement with Columbian producing group La Productora. Through the agreement, Emmy-award winning KPI, a unit of Lightworks Producing Group, will co-develop and co-produce “Narc-Ops,” a front-line documentary on the underground world of drug smuggling, filmed through the eyes of law enforcement agencies. “Narc-Ops” will be distributed worldwide exclusively by LEI’s distribution arm, Lightworks Program Distribution.

“Narc-Ops” is an investigative documentary which takes viewers to the frontline of a major undercover drug bust. With access to police and drug enforcement officials in Colombia, Mexico, US and other countries in Latin America, 4 film crews will seek and track drug kingpins as they attempt to smuggle mass quantities of heroin from South America to ports world-wide.
